Loading Bay & Service Yard Marking Planner
Estimate the line marking scope for loading bays, HGV lanes, pedestrian crossings, keep-clear boxes and hatched safety zones.
How to scope a yard without over-ordering
Start with the movements that happen every day: HGV reversing lanes, van waiting areas, pedestrian desire lines, door thresholds and keep-clear boxes around shutters or waste areas. Mark the swept paths first, then add hatching only where it protects a route or keeps access open. A resurfaced or patched yard should be re-measured before ordering because old bay counts and worn paint ghosts can make the scope look smaller than it is.
Use the result as a take-off for discussion: total line metres, hatched area, crossings, bay count and any areas where lighting or poor contrast may make a fresh layout hard to see in wet conditions.
